TotseatThinking back to the days that Little Miss Green needed a high chair, I remember hating looking at the sight of that big piece of plastic in my dining room.

We choose a wooden frame one, one that would come apart into a small table and chair when she was older, but the table itself was plastic and the seat was that ghastly PVC with foam inside.

We bought it second hand, and to be honest, we were just pleased to be able to get something. I had little knowledge or interest in the landfill then, but it’s probably sitting there now and will remain for the next few hundred years.

I liked the idea of having Little Miss Green on my knee while we ate together, but once the fork had been pushed up my nose a couple of times and my dinner had landed on the floor (much to the cat’s and dog’s delight) we decided a high chair was the way forward.

Well, if I had my time again, I’d definitely be heading over to Totseat
