Mrs Green

I am a long time supporter of the Green and Sustainable lifestyle. After being caught in the Boscastle floods in 2004, our family begun a journey to respect and promote the importance of Earth's fragile ecosystem, that focussed on reducing waste. Inspired by the beauty and resourcefulness of this wonderful planet, I have published numerous magazine articles on green issues and the author of four books.

When I approached it, I realised it was overflowing, figured out what had happened and checking back through the site, […]

If anyone fancies a spot of campaigning, I’ve just had an email from Rob, who has informed me of the anti-incineration march and rally, here in Gloucestershire this weekend. SWARD (Safety in Waste and Rubbish Disposal) is inviting local residents to join a march organised by a parish council near Javelin Park, Gloucester, to show […]

An emergency food waste week!

Ok, I’m holding my hands up and making a massive confession. Yesterday I went through my ‘fridge and boy was it scary. There was a MOUNTAIN of food I had to compost. I was so annoyed with myself because I even threw out; check this out; diced potatoes for making mash and prepared, chopped carrots […]
