mrs-green-from-my-zero-wasteOne of the things I’m rapidly learning about blogging and TV is that people love their ‘fly on the wall’ stuff. Every one is interested in everyone else – that’s part of human nature.

We like to know what makes people tick, what ticks them off!, what they are interested in, what drives them, what they are passionate about, how often they fart in a day and everything in between.

Today then, is your opportunity to ask us anything you like! You can fire questions at all of us – me, Mr Green, Little Miss Green and even cattus Green has agreed to be interviewed.

Do you have a burning question to ask us? We cover quite a lot about ourselves on the site, but there might little-miss-green-from-my-zero-wastebe something we’ve never talked about that you’re dying to know.

You might want to know something about our zero waste journey, or it might just be about us – the us who are behind the site, living our ordinary life in rural England.

Put your questions in the comments below or send us a contact us form if you prefer others not to know what you are asking!

Next week we’ll pull some of your burning questions mr-green-from-my-zero-wasteout of the recycled charity shop hat and answer them.

I’m not saying we will answer them all, but don’t be shy – tell us what you want to know!

I am a long time supporter of the Green and Sustainable lifestyle. After being caught in the Boscastle floods in 2004, our family begun a journey to respect and promote the importance of Earth's fragile ecosystem, that focussed on reducing waste. Inspired by the beauty and resourcefulness of this wonderful planet, I have published numerous magazine articles on green issues and the author of four books.

Erm, I’ll think of something after I’ve been shopping….

  2. John Costigane says:

    Mrs Green,

I enjoy the solo challenge of Zero Waste. Fsmily issues in the trend are a mystery, though I realise there must be differences of approach.

    The questions are:

Who creates the most waste among you, excluding the cat who cannot read the site? Following on from that: Who is the Zero Waste bore among you?

  3. Lyndsay says:

I’ve been reading your site for a few weeks and I love that you’ve opened it up for questions!

I have heaps to ask you 😉 My most pressing question at the moment is that it’s all very well trying to reduce your waste as a family, and you must have local things that you can do very well, but what are your views and concerns about the larger global waste issues such as from factories, manufacturers and industry.

Surely these people need to make the changes because they produce the biggest waste?

  4. Sarah says:

OK, is there one thing that really creeps you out and you refuse to wash out and reuse or recycle?

I’m fine with mouldy stuff if it’s furry but I don’t do slime….

  5. Ohh, Q&A posts are fun! I’ve started doing them weekly on my blog, and I really enjoy writing them.

  6. Mrs Green says:

@John Costigane: Ahahahahahaha; that is an excellent question, John – we look forward to battling that one out and letting you know the answer.

@Lyndsay: Hi Lyndsay, welcome to the site and thanks for your question. It’s a thought provoking one – we’ll let you know!

@Sarah: Oh brilliant! This one has really got me thinking – watch this space …

@Kristen@The Frugal Girl: Yours are great., Kristen; but I think we’re a bit of a Billy no mates – only three questions is a bit sad LOL! Perhaps I’ve aid so much there is nothing new to know about us 😉

  7. Definitely not BNM; but each time I thought of something i found the answer on the site.

However I do have a question now.

What is the one thing you would never go without even if the packaging HAD to go into landfill?

  8. Mrs Green says:

@maisie dalziel: Thank you Maisie; that explains things then. Your question is fabulous and I shall look forward to answering it for you 🙂
