You remember I mentioned Swop2Shop a while ago?
Swop2shop is a rather funky clothes swapping site. How many times have you sold clothes on eBay only to spend the money on your electricity bill? With Swop2Shop, the emphasis is on getting new clothes without the guilt.
Not only do you help to keep clothes out of the landfill (a staggering 1 million tonnes of clothing are thrown into the landfill every year), but you ‘sell’ your clothes for points which can be saved up and redeemed for other clothes on the site!
Now I have to admit, registering on the site (which is Free) is simple. Even putting your clothes on the site is straight forward, but as with many plans in my busy life, I just haven’t bothered to get around to listing any of my unloved clothes on there yet.
You know how it is, after a busy day the last thing you want to do is sit in front of the computer photographing clothes and uploading the descriptions to a website.
The consequence of my ‘time poor’ life is the clothes is still sulking in my wardrobe, I’m still getting frustrated whenever I look for something to wear and I’m beating myself up for not bothering to list my stuff.
Recognise yourself? You just want some fairy Godmother to put down her wand and sit at your computer for you, don’t you?

Zoe and Kathryn will sort through your loot, value your clothes and wait for it, credit your account with the appropriate number of points so that you can start swapping immediately. You don’t even need to sell the clothes to get the points credited to your account.
Some things in life are too good to be true and few things are truly free, but here’s something that is genuine all the way through. You literally have nothing to lose except some unwanted clothes.
