Weekly roundup twenty four

Welcome to our Sunday roundup.
Little Miss Green is completely recovered now, but as any parent will sympathise, Mama Green is left feeling a bit chewed up and spat out around the edges.
Still, things are looking up and I’ve kind of caught up with the site this week.
We started the week with sharing about a brand new site called Ooffoo. On Ooffoo you can share eco tips, recycle, barter, swap and do all manner of other eco friendly feel-good stuff. The site is in its infancy, but it promises to be big.
On Monday we shared news of a very special zero waste Birthday celebration. Find out which one of us was celebrating with a few candles on the cake.
On Tuesday we travelled to Beijing along with Just Gai to spread the message about zero waste. Find out exactly what we said (sort of).
We found out that Saturday (15th November) was Junk Mail Revenge day. It was a little late to share information about this great campaign, but I’ve bookmarked it in my diary for plenty of notice next year. Read all about it.
Mr Green posed for our weekly weigh in this week. We were groaning under the weight of our week of convenience; find out how wobbly our dustbin’s tummy was this week.
I discovered the delights of late night supermarket shopping on Thursday and discovered lots of zero waste goodies too. Many readers came to share their own stories. Have a read and add your feel good experiences.
On Friday I started planning zero waste Christmas celebrations. Find out how to achieve zero waste crackers and let us know what else you would like covered in our upcoming series of articles.
There is the rest of the month left to join in with our November challenge. This month it’s fun and rewarding so jump in with your good intentions and share your successes.
I’ve been having a rant with our dustbin demon for November. He’s cropped up before on the site, so have a read and find out which landfill layabout has got me riled this month.
Next week we’ll be sharing our experiences of some review products, we’ll have a couple of great discounts for you to take advantage of and will be continuing the zero waste Christmas theme.
Don’t forget to join in with the latest discussions and start decluttering for the November challenge.
We’ll also have a ‘real live human’ translation of the Beijing article so that you can get a better gist of what Just Gai and I actually said!
Have a wonderful Sunday and thank you for being you!
