Zero Waste Week 2018 is just two weeks away!

Now in it’s eleventh year, we’ll be celebrating Zero Waste Week 2018 3-7th September.
It’s grown to be such a success the campaign has its own dedicated website which you’ll find here.
Each year there’s a different theme and you’ll need to be on the mailing list to find out what it is.
In the meantime, there’s nothing like planning ahead to ensure success, so I’ve created a free resource for you!
The number one piece of information you need in order to reduce your waste is to know what you’re dealing with.
In short, you need to take an audit.
Whether that means writing things down before you put them in the bin, or getting rubber gloves on and digging into what you’ve thrown away over the past week doesn’t matter – do what works for you.
You can guestimate, bag it up or weigh it, but the best method is to write everything down.
Once you have your list, you’ll be able to see what you could have recycled, what you might be able to reuse or compost, and you’ll be left with the items you can try and find alternatives to in order to divert more from landfill.
Head over to the Zero Waste Week website to download your free audit sheet now.
