"All The Fun of The Fair" Button Bracelet by The Kitch End

We’ve been featured in this Summer’s issue of a fantastic online magazine called “Uk Handmade”.

You can spot our interview on page 68 online.

I’m so excited to be featured in this magazine because it’s an excellent publication. It focuses inspirational artists, designers and makers who are blazing the trail with their creative reuse ideas.

From recycled jotters, to reclaimed bunting to silver rings made from teaspoons; you’ll find plenty to inspire you.

If your fingers are itching to try something new, check out their blog, where you will find tutorials for heaps of items including egg cosies, stamps, cute bunnies and sewing projects. In fact they have everything listed from applique to zips.

The kind folk over at Uk Handmade have agreed to share some tutorials with us, which I’m so looking forward to and will be coming up on the site in the future.

But that’s not all!

I’ve been asked to judge a “Trash to treasure” upcycling competition over at Makers Online. They are offering a £200 cash prize for the person who makes something new and beautiful out of something old and worthless.  They want to see fresh, new, original ideas! So this is your perfect excuse to get crafty and be in with a chance of winning.

I’ll be penning an article for UK Handmade on having an eco friendly Christmas and writing some recycling tips for them over the coming months, so watch this space and put your thinking caps on for turning your trash into treasure. I know there are some very talented readers out there!
