Zero waste clothes swapping at Cream.

If you’re out and about in Cheltenham on June 18th or Gloucester on June 25th and you fancy some new clothes for free, you need to go to Cream hairdressing salon!

For the price of a £5 ticket, you can swish (swapping clothes, to you and me) to your heart’s content.

Free clothes

Take along at least three items of clothing you no longer want, exchange them for discs and use your discs to swap for new clothes.

You’ll get some nibbles, a glass of fizz and some new clothes – all for £5

All proceeds are being donated to the Look Good, Feel Better charity, which helps hospitalised cancer patients look and feel better.

Keep textiles out of the landfill

It’s a great credit crunch, landfill saving, frugal and fun activity to take part in. Everyone has made impulse buy mistakes and has the unwanted evidence in the back of their wardrobe, so why not release your mistakes and get some new clothes in the process?

With over 1 million tonnes of clothing ending up in the landfill every year; you’ll be doing your bit for Mother Nature too. While your sorting out your finery, don’t forget you can donate your unwanted bras to charity.

What’s the difference between this event and buying three items in a charity shop for a fiver? None at all, but it sounds like fun to me and I bet the nibbles and drinks are good!

What about you? Have you ever been to a swishing party?
