new-york-city zero wasteI’ve been contacted by a journalist in new York City who is working with PBS and hoping to find, I quote,  ‘a family like yours’ (as if LOL!) for an upcoming series they are producing.

If you’re in new York and you’re ‘waste free’, as the lovely lady puts it, then please contact me and I’ll forward you her email details.

This could be a great opportunity for someone to spread the zero waste message and enjoy a bit of fame!

I am a long time supporter of the Green and Sustainable lifestyle. After being caught in the Boscastle floods in 2004, our family begun a journey to respect and promote the importance of Earth's fragile ecosystem, that focussed on reducing waste. Inspired by the beauty and resourcefulness of this wonderful planet, I have published numerous magazine articles on green issues and the author of four books.

There was a NY blog/community of people having worm parties (!) – very neighbourly, eh? I have no idea where though.. 🙂
maybe she has that link anyway.. if not, I can maybe try to dig it out..
