Three free zero waste magazines to try!

Back in August, I gave a little plug for Zinio – an online magazine reader. I admitted to being a bit resistant to giving up paper issues of magazines, because they are a bit of a ‘me time’ indulgence.
However, I came across someting else this week that might help tempt us give digital subscriptions a go!
Magazines on demand, in conjunction with The Telegraph are giving readers the opportunity to download 3 digital magazines for free!
Choose from magazines like Cosmopolitan, She, Prima, Good Housekeeping, Country Living, Men’s health, Esquire and Runner’s World. They will be exactly the same as the ones you buy in the shop, sans packaging, glossy paper and toxic inks.
You need to download a special reader which is a user friendly and stress free as it gets (that’s saying something if Mrs Impatient here thinks so!)
There is no obligation to buy any more magazines after you’ve had your freebies and both PC and Mac users should be able to take part in this giveaway with the minimum of fuss.
All you have to do is select the three magazines you want; choose the ‘buy single issue’ option and when you’ve got your three scooped into your basket, use the code 3FREEMAG at the checkout.
Why not have a go and let me know how you got on. Would you consider ditching paper magazines in favour of their online counterpart after trying this offer?
I’m off for a gander …
It’s not clear which magazines this works for, but apparently not the ones I would like!
🙁
I’ll give that a try later, thanks!
I was in Prima recently, did you know that?
Oooh, free mags, sans paper. I’ll def give that a go, thanks very much Mrs G!!
Carole (who’s been very busy all day sorting out old – five years to be exact) bank statements, ready to shred. Got a lot of stuff squirreled away under the bed from when I first moved in here!
Have managed to download the Delivery software and it’s busy downloading my three mags plus another freebie What Digital Camera. Plenty of reading for me tonight!
Carole
Ooh, very cool.
I get all my magazines from the library…of course, they do eventually get recycle, but at least a lot of people get to use them first!
@Emma: Did you have any more luck figuring out the ones you could get, Emma? Sorry to hear you couldn’t get the ones you wanted.
@Sarah: Sarah! Congratulations on being in Prima. That’s fabulous! Was it about soapnuts?
@Carole Blake: Glad you took part, Carole and well done on the bank statements. What are you going to do with the shredded paper?
@[email protected] Frugal Girl: We can’t take magazines out from our library; it’s a fantastic idea. Can you actually take them out or do you have to sit there and read them?
@Mrs Green: No it was to do with my writing.
Oh that’s brilliant Sarah – well done. Were you pleased with the article and did you get some sales from it? I hope so!
