zero waste broccoli and spinach soup recipes
As promised, these are the soups I made last week from vegetables, cream and cheese that were about to walk out of the fridge themselves. I ended up with six pots of glorious brown stuff to stash away in the freezer for a ‘can’t be bothered to cook’ evening 🙂

Mr Green finds zero waste coffee
We’ve now found two ways for Mr Green to enjoy his caffeine fix sans landfill waste! The first is at our local(ish) Taurus Crafts. In there, you can choose from about 12 different types of coffee bean which can be bought whole or are ground in front of your very eyes.
A true example of zero food waste
I borrowed a great book from the library last week by Marguerite Patten called ‘Feeding the Nation‘. I’m reading it to try and get more inspiration and motivation to waste less food. Not that we waste a lot compared to the ‘average’ family; but we waste more than I would like to or need to.
